Washington Sea Grant has partnered with the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe and Adaptation International to develop sea-level rise projections and sea-level scenario maps for the Jamestown S'Klallam community, which for 10,000 years has made its home along the shores of Olympic peninsula in Washington state. The assessments are being used to identify the most vulnerable tribal areas or resources and to set priorities for adapting to those impacts. This webinar, led by Ian Miller of Washington Sea Grant, will present their process for developing community-based sea-level rise projections, and ways to facilitate the projections' use.
