People have found tranquility, recreation, and have built their lives around the Hood River for hundreds of years. The latest update to The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ saw Goldenseal classified as “Vulnerable” on The IUCN Red List in a move that highlights concerns about the medicinal plant’s decline.
